The Lions now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avalon for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 24. Blooming Grove will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Dawson (Dawson, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Frankston was nudged by Eustace (Eustace, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
