Texas High School Volleyball - Ferris over Lancaster

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) and the host Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), saw Ferris's volleyball squad beat Lancaster by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Ferris upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Crandall (Crandall, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 21. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Crandall won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Creekview (Carrollton, TX)

The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 26. Lancaster will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Farmersville (Farmersville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 14-3.
