In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Fort Bend Bush Broncos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks.
The Broncos (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Mayde Creek was edged by Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hawks clash with the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 24. Hardin-Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record.
