Texas High School Volleyball - Porter over Giddings

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Porter Spartans (Porter, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans face the Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 21. Porter will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX).

With the loss, Giddings moves to 9-9 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Lexington (Lexington, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 24. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 14-6. Lexington lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX)
