Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Redskins clash with the Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 22. Manteo will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record.

With the loss, Ayden - Grifton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Camden County (Camden, NC) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 23. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 0-0.
