The Hillside Hornets topped the host J.F. Webb Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Granville for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. Hillside will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Northern Durham was knocked off by Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
