Century Diamondbacks (Pocatello, ID) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Marsh Valley Eagles (Arimo, ID), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Diamondbacks face the Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 23. Century will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Russets enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID).
The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Fremont for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. Marsh Valley will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, ID). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
