The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the visiting Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), saw Lake Central's soccer squad triumph over Highland by a margin of 6-0.
The Indians now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Crown Point for a Duneland test on Wednesday, August 23. Lake Central will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Munster (Munster, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Highland drops to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans host Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN) to meet the Kougars in a Northwest Crossroads test on Wednesday, August 23. The Kougars come into the test with a record of 2-1. Kankakee Valley won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Kouts (Kouts, IN)
