Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Habersham Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Rabun County will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Towns County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Chestatee (Gainesville, GA) to battle the War Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 23. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Chestatee lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against North Oconee (Bogart, GA)
