Indiana High School Volleyball - Salem over Austin

The Salem Lions (Salem, IN) volleyball were winner over the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), 3-1 in Monday's league outing.

With the win, Salem betters its record to 3-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to face the Rebels in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 22. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Southwestern won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Clarksville (Clarksville, IN)

The Eagles now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Creek for a Mid-Southern bout on Wednesday, August 23. Austin will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 2-0.
