The Lincoln County Patriots volleyball team (Stanford, KY), was nudged 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY)

The Rebels (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rockets enter the District 47 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Rockcastle County was nudged by Somerset (Somerset, KY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) in a District 45 challenge, on Tuesday, August 22. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Golden Lions enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over McCreary Central (Stearns, KY).
