The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) and the visiting Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), saw Roland-Story's volleyball squad nip Central Springs by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Roland-Story upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Norsemen host South Hamilton (Jewell, IA) to play the Hawks in a Heart of Iowa bout on Monday, August 21. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Panthers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Ansgar for a Top of Iowa - East bout on Thursday, August 24. Central Springs will play a Saints squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
