The Flyers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Shawnee (Lima, OH). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Shawnee tipped Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Comets battle the Ottawa Hills Green Bears (Toledo, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 24. Genoa Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Green Bears enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH).
