North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hickory Ridge tips Mallard Creek

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Mallard Creek Mavericks.
The Ragin' Bulls (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, East Mecklenburg was nudged by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mavericks play the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Mallard Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC).
