Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Christ the King advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, August 26. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-2. Mooresville won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)

The Stallions now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Langtree Charter for a non-league test on Monday, August 26. Queen's Grant will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
