Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) and the host Lake Shore Shorians (St. Clair Shores, MI), saw Grosse Pointe North's soccer squad knock off Lake Shore by a count of 4-2.

The Norsemen (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Port Huron Northern tipped Marysville (Marysville, MI), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Shorians battle the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 23. Lake Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
