North Carolina High School Soccer - Marvin Ridge knocks off Monroe

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Marvin Ridge Mavericks soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Monroe Redhawks.

The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Charlotte Catholic was overwhelmed by Middle Creek (Apex, NC), 1-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Redhawks play the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 22. Monroe will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Arborbrook Christian Academy (Matthews, NC).
