Colorado High School Softball - Mullen bested by Douglas County

The Douglas County Huskies triumphed over the visiting Mullen Mustangs softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies play the Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 23. Douglas County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO).

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Doherty was routed by Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
