The Jaguars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette (Lexington, KY). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Lafayette notched a victory over Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians meet the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Montgomery County will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY).
