The Minford Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Northwest Mohawks to 0 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Chesapeake for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 24. Minford will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Northwest drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mohawks host Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Monday, August 26.
