Florida High School Football - Columbus can't hold off Southridge

Southridge Spartans (Miami, FL) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the host Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL), 28-21 in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL) in a 6A District 16 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Southridge will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 42-0 non-league loss to Belen Jesuit (Miami, FL).
The Explorers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Coral Gables (Coral Gables, FL). The Cavaliers come into the 7A District 16 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Coral Gables tipped Braddock (Miami, FL), 41-0, in a non-league test.
