The Highland Cardinals walloped the visiting Monticello Ponies football team by a score of 52-14 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Williams Bay Bulldogs (Williams Bay, WI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Highland will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Ponies (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah (Elkhart Lake, WI). The Resorters enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah was ripped by Oakfield (Oakfield, WI), 48-0, in a league game.
