The Shawnee Golden Eagles felled the host Iroquois Raiders football squad by a margin of 30-6 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Nelson for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Shawnee will meet a Generals squad coming off a 54-0 non-league loss to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Generals record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Iroquois drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
