Utah High School Soccer - Layton nudges Corner Canyon

Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) and the visiting Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT), saw Layton's soccer squad hold off Corner Canyon by a count of 3-2.
The Lancers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lehi (Lehi, UT). The Pioneers enter the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Lehi tipped Herriman (West Herriman, UT), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Chargers confront the Syracuse Titans (Syracuse, UT) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Corner Canyon will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 2-2 non-league Lehi (Lehi, UT).
