Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY) fans were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), 4-1 in a non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Lyon County for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Muhlenberg County will play a Lyons squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Lyons record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Webster County moves to 0-3 on the year. The Trojans host Union County (Morganfield, KY) to play the Braves in a District 6 bout on Monday, August 25. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Union County lost 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY)
