The Spring Creek Spartans felled the host Carson Senators football team by a score of 42-16 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans play the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a test, on Friday, August 29. Spring Creek will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Railroaders come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV).

With the defeat, Carson moves to 0-1 on the season. The Senators travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
