The Roswell Coyotes walloped the visiting Lovington Wildcats football squad by a count of 52-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Coyotes now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carlsbad for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Roswell will meet a Cavemen/Cavegirls squad coming off a 26-12 non-league loss to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Lovington drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to face the Cavemen/Cavegirls in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
