The Morehead Panthers football squad (Eden, NC), was routed 46-12 in Thursday's non-league match with the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC)

The Rams (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Eastern Alamance was routed by Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC), 22-0, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 28. Morehead will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 44-7 non-league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC).
