The Newport Harbor Sailors football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Murrieta Mesa Rams to 14 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sailors now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Corona del Mar for a challenge on Friday, October 10.

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Vista Murrieta lost by Great Oak (Temecula, CA), 31-19, in a non-league challenge.
