The Horizon Hawks soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Highlands Ranch Falcons to 2 in the Hawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Arvada West for a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. Horizon will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Highlands Ranch moves to 0-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to face the Chargers in a non-league contest on Monday, August 25. The Chargers enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
