With the triumph, South Lyon East moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Franklin (Livonia, MI) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Mavericks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lyon for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11.
