In Thursday's non-league match, the host Central City Bison softball team scored a nice 16-6 victory over the Boone Central Cardinals.

The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Polk County (Stromsburg, NE). The Slammers enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
