The Mullen Mustangs softball team scored 14 runs and restricted the visiting Doherty Spartans to 3 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Denver South Ravens (Denver, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Mullen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Ravens go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 15-6 non-league loss to Northfield (Denver, CO).

The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO). The Huskies go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
