In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Prospect Ridge Academy Miners volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the DSST: Montview Knights.
The Miners (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Gilcrest, CO). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Knights now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Washington for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26.
