In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons.

With the win, St. Cecilia Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Scarabs travel to Father Ryan (Nashville, TN) to face the Irish in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Irish go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Franklin Christian Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
