In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host La Serna Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Whitney Wildcats.
The Lancers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 2. Whitney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
