Fans at Thursday's non-league test between the Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) and the visiting Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), saw Sonoma Valley's volleyball squad achieve victory over Piner by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Sonoma Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Alhambra (Martinez, CA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Prospectors meet the St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 3. Piner will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
