The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Triumph Charter Jaguars (Sylmar, CA), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league contest.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA). The Valiants enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, St. Genevieve was knocked off by Taft (Woodland Hills, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Jaguars battle the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Triumph Charter will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
