With the triumph, Monroe moves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Saline (Saline, MI) to clash with the Hornets in a Southeastern - Red test on Monday, August 25. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 4-0. Saline won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Salem (Canton, MI)

The Jets now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary Catholic Central for a Huron test on Friday, August 22. Airport will play a Falcons/Kestrels squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Blissfield (Blissfield, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels record now stands at 1-0.
