DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer squad nudge the host Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Crimsons (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against New Albany (New Albany, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, New Albany got by Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bruins confront the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 26. Ballard will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
