The Cardinals now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. Canfield will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-0.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Northeast 8 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Poland Seminary held off Girard (Girard, OH), 7-0, in a league contest.
