In Thursday's non-league outing, the host New Covenant Gryphons soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Dayspring Christian Academy Lions.
The Gryphons (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Grace Christian (Staunton, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record.
