St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Edison Tommies (Minneapolis, MN), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, St. Thomas Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cadets host Woodbury (Woodbury, MN) to clash with the Royals in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Royals come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Tommies now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26.
