In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Westminster Wolves soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Gateway Olympians.
The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Greeley West (Greeley, CO). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Greeley West nipped Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO), 4-0, in a non-league test.
The Olympians now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rangeview for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Gateway will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Summit (Frisco, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
