Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Park Center moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Roseville (Roseville, MN) to meet the Raiders in a Class AA Section 5 test on Saturday, August 23. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Roseville lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN)

The Knights now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coon Rapids for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22.
