The Mannford Pirates (Mannford, OK) softball nipped the host Adair Warriors (Adair, OK), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collinsville for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Mannford will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-5.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Kingston (Kingston, OK). The Redskins go into the 3A test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Kingston held off Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK), 8-0, in a non-league test.
