Nebraska High School Softball - Central City bounces Boone Central

August 21, 2025: Central City, NE 68826

In Thursday's non-league test, the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE), by a tally of 9-1.

Next, the Bison clash with the Polk County Slammers (Stromsburg, NE) in a C District test, on Tuesday, August 26. Central City will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Slammers go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Raymond Central (Raymond, NE).

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highway 91 (Leigh, NE). The enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Highway 91 thwarted Polk County (Stromsburg, NE), 18-12, in a non-league contest.
