In Thursday's non-league test, the Byng Pirates (Ada, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Maud Tigers (Maud, OK), by a tally of 12-0.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Caddo Bruins (Caddo, OK) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. Byng will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Bruins go into the test with a 4-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK).
The Tigers (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Wewoka (Wewoka, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Wewoka was routed by Asher (Asher, OK), 15-1, in a non-league test.
