Oklahoma High School Softball - Sequoyah bounces Checotah

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sequoyah Indians softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Checotah Wildcats.
The Indians (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Coweta topped McAlester (McAlester, OK), 13-1, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats now hold a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hulbert for a non-league match on Thursday, August 21. Checotah will battle a Riders team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Colcord (Colcord, OK). The Riders record now stands at 2-7.
