The Cherokee Trail Cougars softball squad (Aurora, CO), was edged 1-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Erie Tigers (Erie, CO)

With the victory, Erie advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Legend (Parker, CO) to battle the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Legend won 12-0 in their recent non-league contest against Legacy (Broomfield, CO)

The Cougars now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22. Cherokee Trail will battle a Lions team coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Lions record now stands at 2-0.
